End-to-end Automation of API Product Delivery

Combining two of my favorite topics, OpenAPI and the issue of scaling API delivery, Ikenna Nwaiwu's recently published "Automating API Delivery" definitely hits a nerve. And I am sure the same is true for many others who start treating APIs strategically and are wondering how to best scale their practices.

In this video, Ikenna Nwaiwu of Ikenna Consulting talks about the idea of APIOps and how it helps to improve the effectivity of teams developing APIs. We talk about the principles presented in the book, the practices that the book recommends, and look at an example illustrating a workflow involving various teams.

This book is one more indication that the space of APIs is still developing rapidly and that scaling practices around API development is becoming increasingly important. Related concepts such as platform engineering and the continuing success of approaches like @TeamTopologies show that there is substantial interest in delivering software and features as fast as possible.
