Sample Set Creation: Cutting Samples

In this screencast a few different methods of how the individual samples can be exported from the noise reduced file will be shown. I personally like to use the section label feature of Audacity (Ctrl+B to change any selection into a label) a lot when exporting sample files.

I personally also use a few command line tools that speed up some of the operations, but since few people are comfortable with such programs I only show manual ways to achieve the same results in this video.

At the same time when exporting the samples I also change the sample rate and bit depth of the files to the desired target quality.

Some extra "cleaning" of the samples can also be done at this stage if it's deemed necessary.
