Flag Football Offensive Foundations: Part 2

This is part 2 of my Flag Football Offensive Foundations Clinic. If you’re watching this, you probably already have my Flag Football Offensive Foundations Play Pack and are excited to learn more about how to run those plays. If you haven't seen Part 1 of the clinic yet, pause this video and go watch that one first. You'll want to understand the play design concepts there before getting into specific plays here.

I want to emphasize that what makes these plays successful is that they’re based on concepts that my players can understand. We don’t just want our players to know where they’re supposed to run; we want them to know why they’re supposed to run there. Having them understand the principle instead of simply memorizing routes gives our players the buy-in to go from “why are you just asking me to run straight without the ball?” to “Coach, did you see me turn that defender away from the play?” That’s an exciting level up for a player.
