Béla Bartók, Romanian Folk Dances | Duo Diversitas | Classical Guitar and Flute

Siccas Media presents the Duo Diversitas, playing their transcription for classical guitar and flute of the six Romanian Folk Dances composed for piano by Béla Bartók. Learn more about this fantastic Duo:

Evgeniya Spalinger (flute) and Marisa Minder (guitar) founded the Duo Diversitas during their studies at the Basel Music Academy. In 2016 they received the 1st prize in the international competition for chamber music with guitar in Bale Valle, Croatia, followed by the 1st prize in the international competition Danubia Talents in Vac, Hungary, 2017.

The duo regularly plays concerts in Switzerland and whole of Europe. In addition to the traditional repertoire of classical music, several works have been composed for the duo and premiered by them. In May 2020, Marisa Minders debut CD will be released at NAXOS Germany with the first recording of Hans Haug's Concertino for guitar and little orchestra.
