BMPT Terminator Tank: Live Fire Footage & Review

In this video, we will see the BMPT Terminator at the firing range, testing its dual 30mm autocannons, which have a firing rate of 550 rounds per minute each. There are two firing modes: low and high rates of fire. Typically, the low firing rate is used, and the high rate is reserved for helicopters.

We will also see the BMPT Terminator fire its Ataka M anti-tank guided missiles, which can penetrate 800mm of steel behind explosive reactive armor. The BMPT Terminator features the T-90A hull, although at first, it was placed on the T-72 hull, and its turret is remotely operated, with all three crew members seated within the T-90A hull.

The only downside is, the BMPT Terminator has a slow reverse gear. This can be a problem; often, Russian tankers turn the tank around, but this exposes the sides of the tank, which even a 30mm IFV with APFSDS munitions could pop the turret.

The BMPT Terminator also comes with a 30mm automatic grenade launcher.
