Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a 2020 action role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. As the twelfth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, it follows Viking raider Eivor Varinsdottir, who attempts to establish a new Viking settlement in England during the 9th century. Along the way, Eivor becomes entangled in the conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order. Players can choose to play as either a male or female Eivor, customize their character, and explore a vast open world that blends Viking mythology with historical events.

The gameplay combines elements of stealth, combat, and exploration. Players can use a variety of weapons, including new options like flails and greatswords, and employ "Odin Sight," a mechanic akin to the series' iconic Eagle Vision. The game emphasizes player choice, with multiple ways to approach missions, including diplomatic solutions or combat.
