Описание к видео DIY RFID Penetration Testing Tool: Complete NFC Card Reader/Writer & Test Platform with Raspberry Pi

In this video of our Raspberry Pi RFID/NFC Tools series I'll show you how to create a powerful yet budget-friendly RFID penetration testing tool using just a Raspberry Pi and an MFRC522 module.
This comprehensive tutorial covers:

Setting up the hardware connections between Raspberry Pi and MFRC522
Installing and configuring our custom RFID Block Editor software
Reading card data from various MIFARE Classic cards
Writing new data to unprotected blocks
Testing keys across multiple sectors
Performing default key attacks to recover access keys
Using recovered keys to access previously restricted sectors

Perfect for security researchers, penetration testers, or hobbyists looking to understand RFID vulnerabilities without expensive equipment. I'll demonstrate real-world examples using commercial key cards. Please take note to remember that this video contains educational content-only and informational-content for security awareness only. Always practice responsible disclosure and never use these techniques without proper authorization.

What is the ISO 14443A?
ISO 14443A is an international standard that defines the physical characteristics, radio frequency interface, and communication protocols for contactless proximity cards operating at 13.56 MHz. It's one of the foundational standards for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

Structure of ISO 14443A
The standard is organized in four parts:
Part 1: Physical characteristics - defines the physical attributes of the cards
Part 2: Radio frequency power and signal interface - specifies the RF field requirements and modulation methods
Part 3: Initialization and anticollision - defines how readers detect and select individual cards when multiple cards are present
Part 4: Transmission protocol - establishes the high-level data exchange protocols

How ISO 14443A Relates to MFRC522 and Mifare Cards
MFRC522 Reader Implementation
The MFRC522 chip is designed to implement the reader side of the ISO 14443A standard:

It generates the 13.56 MHz RF field that powers passive cards
It implements the modulation schemes defined in Part 2 (100% ASK for reader-to-card, load modulation for card-to-reader)
It handles the anticollision and card selection procedures from Part 3
It manages the data transmission protocols defined in Part 4
