For the cake:

250g sugar
280g Snowflake plain flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
250ml milk
100g butter
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 large eggs



For the buttercream icing:

100g butter , softened
250g icing sugar, sifted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
few tablespoons of milk to adjust the icing texture.
