UN Secretary-General António Guterres and global leaders commemorated 60 years of UNCTAD by calling for an equitable economy and renewed multilateralism. Over a three-day gathering, participants examined global challenges, including trade disruptions, rising public debt, climate change, and international finance and investment.

The event featured the UNCTAD Global Leaders Forum, opened by António Guterres and UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan, alongside heads of state and government, 28 ministers of trade and foreign affairs, civil society and private sector representatives, leading economists, and international organization leaders from around the world.
