Austin may not be the first place you think to go ride an electric bike, but we found it was pretty great. When we knew we were heading to the Electrify Expo in Austin, we gave ourselves an extra day to ride around and see the sights. Let us take you on an electric bike tour of Austin.

Before we departed for Austin, we took a look at local electric bike shops and companies and came upon Austin based Mod Bikes. We reached out to see if we could ride a few of their bikes around for the day and were stoked they said yes. The Mod Bikes shop is in a nice central location on the east side of Austin. We got to know the team at Mod Bikes a bit (   • MOD Bikes - Behind The Brand in Austin, TX...  ) and picked out some bikes to ride for the morning.
