To make the aviation, you'll need:
lemon juice
luxardo maraschino liqueur
crème de violette
gin
maybe some sugar
lemon & maraschino cherry
a chilled coupe glass

Step-by-step instructions:
Pour one quarter ounce (7 mL) of lemon juice into a yarai.
Pour one quarter ounce (7 mL) of luxardo maraschino liqueur into a yarai.
Pour one quarter ounce (7 mL) of crème de violette into a yarai.
Pour two to three ounces (59 to 89 mL) of gin into the yarai, we used Moody June.
Fill yarai with large ice cubes.
Stir approximately 15 seconds to chill.
Mix a dash of sugar into the yarai.
Dissolve the sugar by stirring for a few seconds.
Strain the yarai into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with lemon swath and maraschino cherry.
Take your mouth on a trip (by drinking).
