Happy #MeMadeMay!!!!

I’ve really been overthinking what I want to do this month and how I plan to navigate it but before we jump into that, this is also the perfect time to give a lil reintroduction to myself.

Hi. I’m Aaronica 💕

I’m a plus-sized, projector sewing, rule breaking, dopamine loving sewist. I’m a mom of 3 of the most fantastic kids in the world. In 2015, I retired from the corporate world the best a full-time blogger and won a couple awards doing that. Here’s some random facts about me in no particular order:
• I aim to inspire, help, and motivate in all that I do.
• I’m planning @atlantafrocktails and that’s been taking up most of my time as of late.
• I believe that self-love is a journey, not a destination.
• I think I’m the funniest person I know.
• I’m an introvert that was trained to extrovert from the time I was 7.
• I teach at @topstitchatl and this is one of my favorite things.
• I design patterns for @knowmepatterns.
• Meeting @mimigstyle was life altering and changed the trajectory of where I was going in the sewing world.
• I speak my mind and up for the people who can’t find their voices.
• I’m a recovering people pleaser.
• I’m a brand ambassador with @berninausa.
• I draft and design patterns with @madeformermaids.
• The pattern testing process is the hardest for me because it’s hard not to take the critiques personal.
• I’m terrible at communication now because I get overwhelmed with the access to me but I love it all the same.
• I’m neurospicy.
• I’m a damn amazing business coach but hate marketing myself.
• I love to make things that make me feel beautiful.
• I still struggle with imposter syndrome.
• I cry every day. Sometimes it’s over personal stuff. Sometimes it’s over people I don’t know on the internet.
• I’ve been busting my behind to be better on social media as a sewist and still don’t feel like I’m doing excellently.
• I have a show called the Plus Side of Sewing on @fashionnetworkus
• My goal this Me Made May is to blossom and grow while sharing how I’m doing this.
