Welcome to Season 3 of Clash of Trades: National Welding League Edition!

This year's championship was held at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. This season of Project MFG's National Welding League featured 350 students from 122 all competing to see who is the best welder nationally!

Throughout the season, student competitors engage in project-based challenges that require them to demonstrate proficiency in various welding processes. These projects evaluate their capabilities in key areas such as fit-up, joint preparation, and the quality of the final weld.

Here, at the end of the season, the top-performing participants for the year have the opportunity to compete head-to-head at the Project MFG National Welding Championship, where they compete for the national title and a grand prize of $10,000 in cash!

JOIN THE 2025-26 SEASON
If you're interested in a way to assess your students' welding knowledge and challenge their skills, the Project MFG National Welding League is the perfect opportunity. Registration opens in August, 2025, and there is no cost to schools or students; all necessary materials will be provided by Project MFG. Round 1 competition is set to run October through November 2025.
