Sounds of the Zone is a work in progress continuation of my older Dark signal audio done some years ago, Sounds of the Zone tackles mostly the environment and weapons of anomaly with other aspects being improved as well though the main focus on those two aspects.

Environmental will be more dynamic with each zone having its own blend of dynamic sound channels for different times of the day and conditions be it day, night, foggy, cloudy, rain or storm, These dynamic channels can range from wind types, tree gust types, bugs, birds, branches, strange and more, these also goes into heavily revamped Psi storm and Emission audio with their own dynamic audio channels. The idea is the further south you are the more natural it world sounds, the further north you progress the less natural and more strange things will sound.

Weapons play the second major part, The weapon audio is being re done and expanded, over 20 new weapon sections have been added with their own audio, guns like the Gol sniper, Vshd2, Vihr, M3, Benlli, Uzi, Ak5, Mk18 and many more guns have been added for variety, each gun will have its own samples for distance scaling, this also includes new parts like new reflectors, bullet cracks, impacts, distant ranges, explosions and more, this is a huge amount of work as there are now 120+ guns to account for with their own audio so the amount of work that is done and still to do is a lot.

Other aspects have been improved but mostly just for added flavor, Footsteps, jump, land and movement, Inventory, vaulting, Anomalies and tweaks to Mutant audio.

The idea is not only to be its own mods to download and add to your game but also serve as a large audio repository for modders to draw from. These videos are just demonstrations.

Mod used in the video is H.A.C.R running with the latest Atmospherics, SSS and the WIP audio. Sometimes some dynamic channels don't catch on cause I kept changing weather.
