Our Vine Time host Ashley Audet visits Connecticut’s newest vineyard to open its doors, Aquila’s Nest Vineyard.

This vineyard is owned by a husband and wife duo with a passion for wine, but their Albanian heritage, and love of astronomy.

All their wines are branded with the image of a constellation, the name of a woman drawn from an ancient Mediterranean myth. Each bottle features an inscription of a wisdom Latin phrase translated in English on the back of the label and features an interesting design on the front.

Currently offering a wine and food pairing combo for their tasting, this is one local winery to add to your list.

That said, all of their wines are on the drier side so if you love dry wine, you’ll enjoy it!
