"We had three cases here at the hospital this morning. All three involved machine gun bullets, but none of them were seriously injured. One of them was a hand injury, the other in the leg and one near the head. We provided the first treatment and then we transferred them to the nearest specialist hospital."

STORYLINE:
Armed clashes between rival state-sanctioned militia in Tripoli reportedly left at least five people injured on Sunday.
A gun battle is understood to have broken out near a former intelligence building in the Libyan capital, after a disagreement over a detained member of one of the groups.
Bullet holes were visible along a wall of the building.
Some of the casualties were taken to a unit of the nearby Tripoli Central Hospital.
"We had three cases here at the hospital this morning. All three involved machine gun bullets, but none of them were seriously injured. One of them was a hand injury, the other in the leg and one near the head," said Doctor Aymen Mohamed Khayr.
"We provided the first treatment and then we transferred them to the nearest specialist hospital."
The clashes highlight the mounting challenges Libya faces a year after the fall of Moammar Gadhafi's dictatorship.
The country is awash with weapons and armed groups.
