There were many factors affecting corn yield loss, including poor agricultural technique, low soil fertility, seeds, drought and excessive rainfall, insects, weed, diseases, labor management, etc. Besides that, the corn price was also concerned as it depended on many factors as well. With corn moisture of 23.7%, the price at local silo or market was around 180 USD per ton.
