In phase 2 when you fight inside, Nightweaver will appear always translucent blue.

Destroy her heart in the first phase.
Do this by killing her while she is spawning the exploding spiders.
This turns her into her spectral form (translucent blue appearance).
You must kill her in phase one AND phase two while she is still in this spectral appearance to get the Nightweaver's Finger.

Nightweaver can regain her solid form by taking your heart.
She takes your heart during a grab attack in the second phase.
If she succeeds in regaining her heart you fail the Alternate reward criteria.

Die to reset the fight to try for the Alternate Reward again - Liquid Escape item in your inventory.
