Touring a Tropical Botanical Garden and Highlights From Our Annual January Getaway

Our number one gardening tip for the month of January here in zone 5b/6a is to go on vacation! All kidding aside, January is a wonderful month for us to travel. After the whirlwind of the holidays it is a nice way to reset for the year to come.

We spent a week on a cruise with @VirginVoyages touring some Southeastern Caribbean Islands. On St Lucia we were thrilled to be able to visit the Diamond Botanical Garden. It is a treasure trove of plants that we could never imagine growing in our garden. What a treat to see plants like begonias in the ground!

We also were really excited to meet up with our friend Perla from @Agrochic !! She is an amazing garden content creator and author. We just got a copy of her new book Verdura and hope to do some of the projects in the book at home.
