This light being called the Night Owl gives you the notion this light is better suited for night use. This light at it's sale price is at CRAZY VALUE! Especially with the rear light which is pretty darn bright and totally impressive for it's size and the fact that its an addition to a headlight.

This light reminds me of the type of light that I would only use in the daytime (despite being named night owl). It makes for a great portable (not the most portable) solution to daytime riding while wanting to be light weight and somewhat portable. I will likely use this light on my gravel bike and would only use the strobe function on the headlight because I feel like it isn't powerful enough to use at night at speeds over 10-12mph.
