Delhi Technological University (DTU) is ranked 2nd and 34th amongst Best Technological Universities in India as per Times Engineering Survey and NIRF. The University provides UG, PG, Executive, and Doctoral Programs in Engineering and Management fields such as B.Tech, BDS, M.Tech, MBA, etc. The admission procedure of all courses is based on National Level Entrance Exams viz. CAT, JEE Main, or GATE. It consists of 230 faculty members and a placement cell with a 100% recruitment record.

Delhi Technological University (DTU), previously called Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is one of the country's most well-reputed higher education institutions. Founded in 1941, the public institution is situated in Rohini, Delhi and is counted amongst the oldest engineering colleges in India. It consists of two schools and 12 departments that offer various postgraduate (MTech), undergraduate (BTech) and doctoral (PhD) programmes in disciplines like technology, engineering, science and management. Also, the university has recently established a campus in East Delhi to provide high-quality education and research opportunities in the field of management.

DTU Admission Process :-
The admissions in BTech programme at DTU can be sought through the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), Delhi. The university grants admission based on the candidate's score in the JEE Main and his/her performance in Class XII or equivalent exam. While determining eligibility for admission, JEE Main marks hold 60% weight and 40% weight is given to the marks received in Class XII.

The institution grants admission in a postgraduate programme according to the candidate's Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) performance. If multiple aspirants have the same GATE score, merit is determined by the qualifying percentage obtained in the undergraduate course.

The admissions to the university's Bachelor of Design programme are given according to the candidate's UCEED score. In case of admission in MBA programme, Common Admission Test (CAT) score is taken into account, followed by personal interview and group discussion rounds.

DTU Placement and Salary Trends :-
Several well-established and prestigious companies visit the DTU campus for recruiting its students. The impressive placement track record of the institution ensures a high return on investment (ROI). The average package secured by the students in the placement session 2017-18 was 9.42 lacs per annum, whereas the highest package received in that season was of 39.12 lacs per annum. Also, over 75 students secured packages of more than 20 lacs annually in the same season. This institution’s exceptional performance is improving consistently, as reflected by the placement statistics of the 2018-2019 session. The average package received by the students this year has grown to 11.17 lacs per annum, whereas the highest package received has risen to 1.02 crore per annum.


DTU Scholarships :-
DTU offers financial assistance in the form of fee concessions to the meritorious and eligible students. Students with total family income below Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum are considered eligible for receiving fee concession. Fee concessions of over Rs. 1.75 crores were granted to the students from economically weaker backgrounds.

The institution also offers scholarships in the form of cash rewards to the students who perform academically well in their respective programmes. These scholarships are handed out on the basis of their annual results. Toppers from every year are granted the reward.
