It was not very clear, the orientation of the swell, so the West for doubt and no favorable wind did not help, but even with 60-foot waves were expected. The famous Red Chargers were coming from all over the planet.
Finally I arrived on the 20th, and before the sun came all eyes were on the barrel, but this time the magic of Nazaré did not appear ...
Luckily he jumped notice that on 23 another swell was expected this time with better orientation and wind so we were without hesitation to wait for the swell.
We knew there was going to be an epic day but what was not known is that not going to be a normal day. The jet entered the canyon, but this time only as a security system. The surfers jumped off the bikes with their guns looking to exceed their limits, looking for the biggest wave ever surfed in Praia do Norte to classic paddle ...
There was the result !..

Fuimos en búsqueda del swell que entraba en la costa portuguesa el 20-12, hicimos las maletas , preparamos el equipo y fuimos rumbo a Nazaré.
No era un parte muy claro, la orientación del swell, muy del W daba lugar a dudas y los viento no propicios no ayudaban, pero aun con todo se esperaban olas de 60 pies. Los Red Chargers estaban viniendo desde todas partes del planeta.
Por fin llego el día 20, y antes de que saliera el sol todos los ojos estaban puestos en el cañón, pero esta vez la magia de Nazaré no apareció…
Por suerte saltó el aviso de que el día 23 se esperaba otra marejada esta vez con mejor orientación y viento así que nos quedamos sin dudar a esperar el swell.
Se sabía que no iba a ser un día épico pero lo que no se sabía es que tampoco iba a ser un día normal. Las motos de agua entraron al cañón, pero esta vez solo como sistema de seguridad. Los surfers saltaron de las motos con sus guns en busca de superar sus límites, en busca de la ola más grande jamás surfeada en Praia do Norte a Paddle...
Este fue el resultado…
