NBC News published an article on July 9, 2025 with the title "Woman says NBC News report made her recognize liver damage from turmeric pills"

The article brought up a very important point, "just cause it's natural doesn't make it safe". However the article was presented in a way to discourage people to take supplements and that they were more dangerous than medications. Listen in to hear some of the facts that were left out of the article.

The article states that 20% of liver toxicity are tied to herbal and dietary supplements. They intentionally left out that the other 80% of liver toxicity was caused by FDA approved medications.
