New 2020 BMW 5 Series Facelift - БМВ 5-й серии

Закамуфлированные седаны и универсалы нынешнего семейства БМВ 5 Series G30 уже давно ездят по дорогам общего пользования в Европе, однако сохранить в тайне внешность обновленного автомобиля компании не удалось.
Судя по фотографиям, радикальных внешних отличий от дореформенной версии не так много. Фары с обновленным рисунком ходовых огней мы видели еще в начале апреля на шпионских кадрах, ноздри слегка увеличенной решетки радиатора в стиле новых моделей бренда визуально срослись, переднему бамперу достались более крупные воздухозаборники, а сзади рестайлинговую «пятерку» можно легко опознать по новым фонарям с пересмотренной архитектурой светодиодных элементов. Дополнительный лючок зарядного разъема в левом переднем крыле выдает в седане подзаряжаемую гибридную модификацию 530e с двухлитровой турбочетверкой и электромотором.
К сожалению, технических подробностей пока нет: если все пойдет по плану, их раскроют в ближайшие месяцы. Не исключено, что европейские продажи начнутся до конца года, хотя до российских покупателей первые машины, скорее всего, доберутся уже в 2021-м.

Official images of the facelifted BMW 5 Series saloon have leaked online via social media. The images give us our first undisguised look at the restyle, which will form part of a range of updates which should also introduce an updated engine lineup and improved driver assistance tech.
As predicted by our previous sightings of camouflaged prototypes, changes to exterior design, made clear in these images leaked on Instagram, are fairly subtle. Contrary to other recent models, BMW designers have resisted the urge to enlarge the grille too much; the new item sits slightly further proud of the front end than before, and the two kidney elements now touch in the centre.
The new grille is flanked by a set of slimmer headlights, whose LED lighting graphics flow into a new, more angular bumper, and overall the new 5 Series strikes a closer resemblance to the 3 Series. Around the back, the only significant change comes in the form of a new LED signature for the tail lights. Expect some new wheel and colour designs too.
BMW will revise the 530e iPerformance’s plug-in hybrid powertrain for 2020, as hinted by the “hybrid test vehicle” branding spotted on a test mule last year. The updated variant could feature a larger capacity battery pack, with a view to increasing the current model’s all-electric, zero-emissions range of 31 miles on a single charge. The 5 Series’s conventional engine range will also likely receive various efficiency revisions.
