We use #CircuitPlaygroundExpress boards by #Adafruit to light up and track the number of punches thrown. The three axis accelerometer triggers an event in the #MakeCode program every time a certain acceleration threshold is crossed. Purple neopixles track the number of punches thrown in a set. Red neopixels count the number of sets completed in a session.
This board and program can be used to keep track of other repetitive movements such as lifting weights.
