Every cancer is treatable provided the patient takes the necessary treatment at the correct time. Many patients in the early stage who observe mouth ulcers, tend to take multivitamin tablets or apply ointments assuming it's a regular mouth ulcer. But even after three weeks if this mouth ulcer does not go away, it's the time you consult a cancer specialist.

One of the most common questions asked by the patient is " Does biopsy spread cancer ?". The answer is "No", it's important for patients to undergo a biopsy in order to check whether they patient has cancer or not. Once we get the diagnosis then only the doctor can map out the treatment for oral cancer. Therefore biopsy is very important part of the early diagnosis of oral cancer.

After the surgery, if the cancer is detected, the doctor recommends the cancer patient undergo surgery. One should not have any fear with regard to oral cancer surgery. Oral cancer surgery is the gold standard treatment for oral cancer which can cure cancer.
