Daisy! Perhaps the only Nelore x British White bred heifer in the USA

Daisy has always run with my heifer herd, I'd pull her when she cycled and put her with a bull, and then back she'd go with the heifers. She likes her buddies, she likes being in charge actually, that's become clear. I noticed the older cows were just mean to her, so I put her back with the heifers a long time back, am glad I did. She is a joy to have, an unusual girl to watch in the early mornings and late evenings. This evening Mike was telling me how odd it looked after he put out the first bale of hay for the heifer herd by the house . . . there was Daisy, monumentally larger than most all these classic mini framed heifers............ munching from the top of the hay ring, not through the ring like the rest, and they can just stand beneath her. I'll get a video or pic of that this early winter. Meantime, I do hope you enjoy this. Daisy came straight to me within a few minutes, if Lucky the Dog hadn't been there as well . . . maybe she would have come even closer than a few inches, hard to say. Had to shut down the video when she was right at me, silly me, worried that Lucky the Dog might just make her get more aggressive than curious. :)
