If you don’t know what a macro lens is - it’s basically a lens that makes details pop.
Tiny things suddenly look massive, and detailed.

Think of those huge wildlife lenses…
this is just the same idea, but for close-ups.

You’ve got super intense macro lenses, and then smaller ones like an 80mm -
which is honestly perfect for shots like this.

It lets you get close without your fingers or edges going soft,
which is usually where people mess this up.

Simple tool. Used properly.
