We have always been storytellers, since the beginning. Storytelling came from our need to explain life, death and the world. From biblical stories to legends and myths, stories were born to make us understand, learn and grow.

Now, with the rise of the internet and social media, we are becoming creators, we are taking back our roles of storytellers and I believe future generations will master even more this powerful tool and will work together united for a better purpose, for a better world.

Little girls read today of heroines and queens that conquer and defend themselves, rescue others and have the power to save the world. They no longer read about princesses trapped that can only be rescued by their prince.

We still have a long way to go. There are still so many battles to fight and wars to conquer. We are not yet equal and we are still fighting for power, but we are changing the narratives step by step and our children hear new stories that offer them a new perspective.

This is where we come into stage! I have created TEYXO to empower women and in the last year, the lifestyle magazine TEYXO STYLE is meant to bring to you even more stories. I am Lara and together we can make this world better!

We learn from stories what to expect of life, who to trust and who to fear. We learn from stories the powers that we have, our secret forces and vulnerabilities. We learn from stories what is right and wrong and in these stories and in storytelling lies the key to creating a better world!
