How to turn a LSI SAS2208 RAID into a SAS2308 IT mode HBA on Supermicro X9DRH-7F

In this video, I will show how to turn a LSI SAS2208 hardware RAID controller into a SAS2308 IT mode HBA SAS controller so that you can use it with ZFS, or other software based storage technologies.

For the UEFI Shell part, here are the commands I used:

1) sas2flash.efi -c 0 -list (to list the controller)
2) sas2flash.efi -c 0 -o -f 2308T207.ROM -b mptsas2.rom (to flash the firmware and BIOS ROM)
