Now, a lot of people think that open houses are set up so you can bring in a buyer.

They also think the agent is going to be the one that makes it all happen.

We don't hold open houses because we typically aren't looking for more clients on the buyer side of our business.

Right now we're in a sellers market so there's a plentiful amount of buyers.

Agents love open houses because it's another way to pick up more clients. We don't hold open houses because we don't feel like they actually add value to getting your home sold.

Getting your home sold, the value add and all the marketing in your home is done before your home is actually listed on the market. So when you make your home look amazing on the inside, you take amazing photos, you shoot a video, you stage your home, and you leave no other factors open, you don't need to hold open houses unless you're wanting to pick up more clients.

Bottom line, agents hold open houses to pick up more clients.

I'm sure somebody will be upset with me but it is actually the truth and I always speak the truth.
