Yes, another Free Bird video! This will be the fourth different chart of this song on this channel, and yes this chart is only available on Wii. This was released as part of a Lynyrd Skynyrd 3 pack during the GH5 era. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of this DLC have the same chart as the GHSH version, and if you had the GHSH export pack, buying this song as DLC was basically useless because it's exactly the same as the chart included in the export. However, the Wii DLC pack got this drastically different chart. I have no idea why it isn't the same chart across platforms, and I have no idea why the Wii is the lucky one to have a unique chart.

I cannot overstate how different this chart is from the GHSH chart. For starters, there's no slider notes anywhere in this chart. That is a stark contrast to the SH chart, where most of the first half of the song is slider notes. The solos are very different too. The most obvious, and frustrating, difference is all those damn extended sustains near the end of the solo. I didn't even bother trying to glitch any of them because it would be a real finger-twister. There's parts of this chart that I like better than the SH version, and there's plenty of parts I feel are worse. I could probably make a comparison video if that would be something you guys would like to see, this chart has 206 LESS notes.

Btw, I played this on Dolphin emulator on default settings. The only thing I did was change the window size to 1920x1080. I'm sure I could get this game looking much better than this, but there's a certain charm to rendering it at native Wii graphics settings lol. I have another Wii video going up tomorrow. You'll never guess it, but I'll just say it's a first ever documented FC of a song.
