Radio 2 in the Park - Preston - Pet Shop Boys - 8 September 2024

Join me as I travel from London to Preston to attend the Radio 2 in the Park festival in Moor Park in Preston. I had tickets for the Sunday of this three day event.

I got the train to Wigan, followed by an Uber to Horwich, where I stayed in the Bolton Stadium Hotel on the Sunday night. So there’s a room tour of my hotel room in there too.

I went specifically to see the Sunday headliners, the Pet Shop Boys. However it was a very wet day and didn't stop raining from the minute I got off the train in Wigan until we made it back to the hotel in the evening! Luckily we splashed out for the enhanced tickets, so we had a covered bar area we could shelter under.
