The third track on Dark Waters, Wayward Child, is really a song about the plight of Poets throughout the centuries. Randy wrote some strikingly astute poetry around this idea. But, in order to make a visually interesting video with zero budget and not too many resources, I decided to take the idea of the "Wayward Child" and use some real world examples. So in the beginning, you will see a bunch of photos passing by somewhat with the beat of the music. These are all famous musicians that have passed away due to untimely deaths, most of which were self induced. Toward the end of the song, in the same mechanical/industrial sounding sequence, you will see pictures of famous mug shots (some more famous than others). As a nod to Vince Gilligan and Breaking Bad (my favorite show ever) the last photo is Walter White's mug shot (when he got maced and arrested).

QUALITY DISCLAIMER: I have spent about 3 weeks trying to tweak the MPEG-4 settings of my video software and for some reason, no matter how "high def" I make this video, it looks amazing on my computer but then falls apart into blocky, digitized pixellation when played back from YouTube. My settings are: CUDA (hardware acceleration), BEST quality, GOP=4, B-Frames=1, bitrate=18,000. I noticed that with this one, the quality is good on some viewings and worse on others. Maybe it's got to do with my internet connection, but I'm not sure about that. This happens no matter where I watch it from.
