The band was formed after DAVE decided to quit from"KREMUSH"
(Purwokerto Death Metal Band) and with TEKAD they formed a new
band called "KURUSETRA" on April 16 th 1997. The first formation
of this old shit are : DAVE(Vox), TEKAD(Drums), IVAN(Bass) &
WAWAN(Guitar). In this line up they're still covered songs from
great band such as: Hypocrisy, Terrorizer & Pestilence.

Within couple of month WAWAN tragicaly fired from the band 'cause
their lack of loyality to the band. So DAVE taking over the guitar & vocal.
An additional vocal FORDY came later to take the vox position. 'cause
he had a cool growl, all members agree to baptized him as a new
member. Mean while the "KURUSETRA" name no longer use and
change into "NEFARIOUS CRYPT" and followed to start played their
own music.

Suddenly on Februari 1998 TEKAD quit from the band with unreasonable
word but that case not much shocking the rest of the band and we
appriciated his decision. In the same year "NEFARIOUS CRYPT"
involved in the local compilation tape "PURWOKERTO BAWAH
TANAH" and using the old drummer as a additional musician,
"NEFARIOUS CRYPT" record their own song on this tape is called
"World Cremation" and continued with Promo Tape"98 which is
excreting 3 Death Grind song.

The new drummer IKA came to fill the drums position on June 1998.
The old members feel that their new drummer bring a new atmosphere
and new proggres to the "NEFARIOUS CRYPT" music concept.
The line up are : DAVE(Guitar), IVAN(Bass), FORDY(Vox) & IKA(Drums)
the're all influnced by SUFFOCATION & DEICIDE.

After finished the Debut Demo 1999 "INHUMANITY", the Bass player
IVAN must go and rest from the band 'Cause he got a job.
On May 9th 2000 we fired our drummer IKA and we have dealed
to back with our previous concept which is NY Style Brutal Death
( Internal Bleeding, Repudilation, Suffocation and Dehumanized ) and we
use additional drummer on stage and on recording.
Make their own LP is also "NEFARIOUS CRYPT" ambition.
