You all should know by now that I don't address ANY sort of politics, but the things I’m hearing about can (and probably will) directly affect me as a content creator, and I may be forced to take my leave should this stuff actually happen. I'll admit I'm kinda in a "worst case scenario" mode bc that's looking to be a realistic possibility.

9 min video short: The “Kids Online Safety Act” and new Mastercard/Visa rules introduced threatens to censor the content I wish to create, notably content relating to mental health and/or serious topics, as it could possibly fall under “adult themes”. My online presence on YouTube (for now) is also being threatened with needing to use a GOVERNMENT ID to avoid restrictions and using an AI to verify one’s age. This is complete madness and I do not wish to play their games.

What can you do?:
Stay informed as much as you can (and while you can)
Share about what's going on
Contact state representatives and senators
Call Visa/Mastercard providers

Do NOT back down. Resist as much as possible and make your voices known as much as possible
