After taping up the last, I quickly drew a very covered court shoe on the last. So it’s time to make a pattern off of it.

Even a simple pattern like this, I like to keep Mean forms so if I need to go back and edit a pattern I can. And also if I ever make a different shoe on the same last I won’t need to go back to taping the last. I can go back to the mean form, and using those reference lines I can design on a flat pattern directly.
