Hi Alex,
The phrasing and confidence gets better toward the end. I wanted you to get a sense of my habits and my thought process when playing. I'm mostly relying on patterns/muscle memory/licks that I have stored in my brain library to varying degrees of spontaneity and musicality. Some phrases (simple ones) are precisely what I want to sing over the backing track... others are copied patterns or voicings that I feel will fit. Sometimes it's just navigating the pattern with the intention of landing on a 3rd or root of a chord I know is coming up and having it come out musical sounding.
