From deep in the archive, we’re heading back to Season 2 when Nick and Angela welcomed their very first Dame to Dish HQ – Mary Berry!

A true icon of British food writing, baking, and broadcasting, Mary’s passion for cooking shot her into the spotlight and has kept her there for over six decades. From editing food magazines to penning more than 75 cookbooks, and of course her seven-year stint as a judge on The Great British Bake Off alongside Paul Hollywood, she has become one of the most beloved figures in the industry.

Originally released as the Season 2 Christmas special, in true festive fashion this episode began with a glass of mulled wine. Angela served up an organic chicken, leek and mushroom puff pie, complete with a satisfyingly thick crust, which Mary was quick to praise. For dessert, the trio indulged in a classic Waitrose Christmas Chocolate Yule Log.
