Today on our 2016 Toyota Sienna we're going to be test fitting the 24 by 60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches. Part number C18152. This has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds, enables you to carry your sports equipment or camping gear outside of your vehicle to make more space on the inside for you and your family. It has this nice mesh floor here on the bottom, that's going to make it a little bit easier to clean. We also have this railing all the way around the cargo carrier, and that can serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. Next I'm going to go ahead and give you a couple quick measurements. Measuring from the edge of the bumper we've added about 30 inches to the rear of the vehicle.

Ground clearance is going to be about 14 inches, and our closest point to the bumper is going to be about 4 and 1/4 inches to this edge here. That same measurement from the center of the hitch pinhole is going to be about 11 inches, so just keep that in mind when you have different style hitches installed on your vehicle to either go further in or stick further out. The exhaust on this vehicle is going to be on the passenger side and it is facing down away from the cargo carrier. Thanks to its raised shank I don't think you're going to have to worry about any heat sensitive material being placed on one side or the other. With it in this position here we do have full access to our rear hatch right now, but I'm going to go ahead and give you the break over point measurement which is where your hatch will meet up with whatever it is you're hauling. That's going to be about 13 inches, so just keep that in mind when you're loading up your gear.
