One Mole Digging a Hole

Deep beneath a quiet meadow lived a small mole named Milo.
He loved the dark earth, the cool soil, and the soft sound of digging.
Every morning, Milo picked one spot and began to dig.
Scratch. Push. Rest.
The hole grew slowly, just the way Milo liked it.
One day, the soil became hard. Stones blocked his path.
Milo paused. His paws were tired, and his whiskers trembled.
“Maybe this is too difficult,” he thought.

He wasn’t digging to rush.
He was digging to build a safe home.
So he took a deep breath and continued—
one small scoop at a time.
Hours passed.
The stone finally moved.
Fresh soil crumbled open, and a new tunnel appeared.
When the sun set above the meadow, Milo rested inside his warm burrow.
The hole was not perfect.
But it was his.
