We jumped back over to Next Island because the Halloween mission for the PARA pet had been activated!

We went to Carnival Island where we turned in 5 Gold Tickets to receive the mission Halloweek!

This mission comes with a bit of a trick! You have to hunt, craft or mine something but you don't know what it is you have to do! You have to try and figure it out on your own!

Thankfully Cat from NIHelper.com was ahead of the curve and had started making a list of what worked for other players. So far Screecher Puny, Piglet, Mountain Boar, Village Boar, Yellow Pappo and Bullman are currently on the list for hunting. All of these mobs are low level with less than 200 HP making it easy for even new players!

Mining we know that some people have completed the mission mining Lysterium and Crude Oil which are the most common Ore and Enmatter.

Crafting we know so far people have been successful crafting Lesser Elysian and Block Chisel.

I started with hunting and just went down the list and got my mission completed when I got to Village Boar!

The mission rewards are a PARA pet, I'm Alive T-shirt, Bloody Axe Costume Piece as well as some special blueprints.

Overall it was a fun mission and only took about 5 minutes to complete.

It was a bit disappointing that something more wasn't done with Hero's Folly and that the PARA pet only has a Taming Skill Gain Buff as it's special buff but overall it was still a fun mission to do!

The mission is NOT repeatable which will make the pets a bit more rare than they would be otherwise. The Gold Tickets are not cheap which means some players may not want to take the time and associated cost consider the pets buff which may naturally limit the supply. Whether or not this makes it a PED making opportunity has yet to be seen.
