Come Experience The Dempster Highway From The Start To Tuktoyaktuk In All Its Majestic Beauty

I have wanted to experience the Dempster Highway for a long time. I lived in Inuvik when the first vehicle made it up to the Dempster in 1978. I have driven the Dempster several times as far as the Arctic Circle area where I hunted for caribou in the fall.
Now we (Cindy & I) have the opportunity to experience the Dempster Highway in all its beauty. We left our travel trailer in Dawson City at the Bonanza campground and are heading to Tuktoyaktuk (Tuk).
I'm excited to visit areas I have not seen for nearly 50 years.
We intend to take our time, enjoy the Dempster, and, with any luck, see some wildlife. Our plans are to take around ten days to complete the trip.
We took three days to get to Inuvik. Our plan was to spend the night in Tuk, but that did not work, as the weather was ugly, windy, and cold, so we ended up leaving and heading back toward Fort McPherson.
All in all we had a good trip with only one flat tire, on our way back down past Eagle Plains
