Pro wrestling has many different characters and gimmicks, the WWF / WWE were masters of creating outlandish characters for their television shows as a way to add personality to each of their performers, however many of these gimmicks could be considered recycled or reused.

Gimmick archetypes exist in pro wrestling; there's been more than one unhinged wrestler on our TV screens (Brian Pillman and Psycho Sid), we've had multiple giants who tower over their opponents (Andre The Giant and The Big Show), we've had superstars claiming to be ladies men (Ravishing Rick Rude and Shawn Michaels) along with legit athletes competing in the ring with amateur credentials (Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar). Not every wrestler that's graced a ring has been a true original in terms of their characteristics.
