In this Jedi Survivor news update video we discuss the biggest mystery/question that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor must resolve ahead of the new trailer and official release date set to come alongside The Game Awards on December 8th. It is no secret that Cal Kestis is nowhere to be seen in the Original Trilogy alongside Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia Organa. Now that we know that Jedi Survivor is set 9 BBY (the same time as the Obi-Wan Kenobi series), the game must reveal what happens to Cal Kestis to cause him not to fight alongside the Rebellion as they attempt to destroy both of the Death Stars and ultimately overthrow Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and the Empire.

Jedi Survivor will be featured at the upcoming The Game Awards on December 8th! During the showcase EA and Respawn will debut a brand new Jedi Survivor trailer, an official release date, and the pre order date for the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! This is incredibly exciting since the last official news we had for Jedi Survivor came all the way back in May at Star Wars Celebration with the release of the first official Jedi Survivor trailer.

The Game Awards was already set to be an incredibly exciting show this year, especially with the hotly contested Game of the Year showdown between Elden Ring, Horizon: Forbidden West, and God of War: Ragnarok. Now it has become even more exciting as we now know that Lucasfilm Games and EA will be showcasing the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor! Needless to say we can’t wait for December 8th!
