I have drawn Long Lane numerous times... The overall feeling is of a secret tunnel. As one walks one might feel like Alice disappearing down the rabbit hole.

This lane runs from the graveyard of St Martin’s Church at one end to a cliff path leading down to Dylan Thomas's boathouse. Thomas lived with his family here from 1949 to 1953. Behind Long Lane, Laugharne town dozes fitfully on its estuary, nuzzling up against its castle, a waymark to centuries of conflict between Welsh and English.
