There are a bunch of questions about what happens to corrugated boxes when they get recycled, and as a responsible company we designed our packaging to be 100% end to end recyclable. Which means we put in the research to be as sustainable as possible, so we thought we would share what we found out. Link below to the report we referenced, and used clips from.

You throw boxes into your recycling bin, and then they get picked up by a company like Waste Management. They get brought to a processing facility, get sorted, and then turned into raw stock. The stock then gets processed and turned into a slurry paste where the packing tape and shipping labels are skimmed from the mixture.

This pulp is then sold to paper companies who turn it back into more boxes, or other paper products.

The process is fascinating!
