WAIT ON TIME | Fabulous Thunderbirds | KILLER Jimmie Vaughan Blues Guitar Lesson!

VIRTUAL TIP JAR IN DESCRIPTION! Man! The opening track off of the Fabulous Thunderbirds first groundbreaking album in 1979. This was truly a different record for the time compared to most of the music coming out in that era. A killer uptempo shuffle and Jimmie Vaughan's guitar playing is just screaming despite using such a dry tone. This is about as bare bones as some white guys from Texas can get! Jimmie's playing has evolved a lot through the years, but back then he was playing his white late-50's Tele with a pick, and no capo:) Be sure and check out the entire "Girls Go Wild" album and in fact the first few T-Birds records if you haven't before. You'll really get a feel for Jimmie Vaughan's playing style back then, and why he's been such a huge influence on countless guitarists over the last 40 years...not the least of which was his little brother Stevie! I'm also doing my best Kim Wilson vocal on this one haha:)
