菩提心流程——從果推因

菩提心:自然任運、為利仇敵為首的一切有情,我必須要以成就無上菩提來完善自己,這種的追求無上菩提之心。(自然任運→蓄意思惟→此世必生任運的把握。)

菩提心的基礎——增上意樂。無法忍受仇敵為首的任一眾生受苦,因此我必須要負起責任,助眾生離苦及苦因。

增上意樂的基礎——大悲心。無法忍受仇敵為首的任一眾生,遭受所知障與煩惱障的障蔽之苦。

大悲心的兩大基礎——出離心與大慈心。出離心:經由空性理,認清我等凡夫眾生飽受自性謬執的操控之苦。大慈心:經知母或自他相換,真誠如愛己般地愛護仇敵為首的一切有情。

自他相換:認清愛我執的過失與愛他心的好處,故而決定「較於自己,非己之他永遠第一優先」,並將非己之他的利益作為此生關注的焦點。

依何因成就「以非己之他的利益作為此生關注的焦點」?答:視周遭一切相遇的有情,無論是以負面或是正面,都是感恩的資源,無一例外。為此,每日鐘響觀的助益巨大,其義如下。

每日履行的功課是至少持誦一次「鐘響觀的感恩文」。範例一:於對象一,因負面互動而觀修的感恩心
*感恩有您(如蔣某某/楊某某/黃某某)的存在以及您對我的所作所為,猶如鐘響,助我釐清且更深入地體會,如果我還繼續放縱愛我執,任其操控自心的話,我必將成為(容易暴怒/貪婪吝嗇/愛碎碎唸)的人,故而真心感恩您!
註:莫要被負面的記憶所牽引,進而陷入仇恨的泥淖之中。

範例二:於對象一,因正面互動而觀修的感恩心
*感恩有您(如蔣某某/楊某某/黃某某),尤其是您的(惻隱之心/請我喝茶/為我著想),從而與我結上善緣,誠心感恩!
同前述理,再一次於對象二進行正負二面的鐘響觀,直至對象三、四、五、六、七等等。

沒有任何一法是以自己的力量形成了自己的性質和作用,一切性質和作用都是在名識施設當中,抽象化的存在,僅此而已,因此無有自性!——蔣揚仁欽博士

The steps of developing Bodhichitta: Deducing the cause from the effect.

Bodhicitta: Spontaneous and uncontrived, in order to benefit all sentient beings led by our enemies in front facing me, I must perfect myself by achieving the unsurpassed Bodichitta, thepursuit of the mind of unsurpassed bodhicitta. ( Spontaneous and uncontrived → contrived contemplation → the confidence of being able to achieve uncontrived Bodichitta in this lifetimethrough familiarization.)

The foundation of Bodhichitta: Altruism. I am unable to bear the fact that all the sentient beings led by our enemies in front facing me, are tormented by suffering, so I must take the responsibility and help all sentient beings to be freed from suffering and the causes of suffering.

The foundation of Altruism- Great Compassion. Unable to bear the fact that all sentient beings led by our enemies in front facing me, are tormented by suffering due to the obscuration caused by Cognitive Obscuration and Afflictive Obscuration.

The two foundations of Great Compassion are Renunciation and Loving-Kindness. Renunciation: through the realization of the correct view of Emptiness, we recognize that how as ordinary beings, we suffer under the mistaken view of self-grasping and suffer due to being consistently manipulated by it. Loving-Kindess: Through knowing the Kindness of All Our Mothers or through the Method of Exchanging Oneself and Others, we sincerely adopt the way we cherish ourselves to cherish and protect all sentient beings led by our enemies who are in frontfacing us.

Exchange of self and others: Recognize the faults of cherishing oneself and the benefits of cherishing others, and therefore decide that "compared to oneself, others who are not oneself will always have the first priority" and regard contributing to the benefits of others who are not oneself, as the focus of attention in one’s life.

What are the causes that we can be dependent upon to help us in achieving " fulfilling the interest of others other than one's own, the focus of attention of this life ? ” Answer: Regard all the sentient beings you encounter around you, whether they are negative or positive, as resources for us to develop a sense ofgratitude, without exception. For this reason, Daily Bell Analysis Meditation is of great benefit, and its meaning is as follows.

The daily practice is to recite " Bell-ringing Contemplation Thankfulness Text" at least once.

Example 1: Regarding Object 1, Analysis Meditation on gratitude due to negative interactions
*I am grateful for your existence (such as Jiang XX/Yang XX/Huang XX) and what you have done to me. It is like the ringing of a bell, helping me to clarify and realize more deeply, if I continue to indulge in self-cherishing thought , if I let it control my mind, I will definitely become a person (who is prone to anger/greed and miserliness/and will become naggy), so I am truly grateful to you!
Note: Don’t be led by negative memories and fall into the muddy pool of hatred.

Example 2: Regarding object 1, meditating on gratitude due to positive interactions
*I am grateful to you (such as Jiang XX/Yang XX/Huang XX), especially your (compassion/ invitation to a tea/your consideration for me), thus forming a positive karmic connection with me, and I am sincerely grateful!

With the same method as above, once again conduct both the positive and negative Bell Ringing Reflection on object two, and carry on with objects three, four, five, six, seven and so on.

There is no Dharma/phenomena that forms its own nature and its own functionality by its own power, all nature and functionality are within the domain of being designated through worldly convention {common sense}, { they are all } abstract existence, that is all, therefore there is no intrinsic nature -----Doctor Jamyang Rinchen
