…and I loved it. I was tired of the mindless scrolling, the obsessive checking, the desensitization. Having no social media was great, until.. it wasn't. I started to feel left out, my videos weren't doing so well, and I felt the pressure of having to have an online presence. It is, after all, where everything happens.. where everyone connects. In a day and age like this, can I really afford to up and quit social media forever?

This is episode 4 of "I Don't Know What I'm Doing With My Life".

On the video style
For this one, I decided to bring back some qualities from episode one, such as talking to the camera and addressing you (the audience) directly. It's something that I purposely haven't done in the last two episodes but decided to do again now. It just felt more natural and suitable for the topic of social media for the style to be less "film-like" and more YouTube-esque.

As usual I like being extreme with my intros, this time wrecking an Instagram piñata, which truthfully was a very messy process. I would say this is my second most "extreme" intro. Number one being when I dressed up as a homeless version of Alice in Wonderland and walked the streets of my hometown.

And I know the seasons in my videos are messed up, please forgive me for it. We can pretend I live in Australia. Not that I hoard footage for months. Nope. Australia.
